In some states, convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs cannot be found on the criminal court record and can only be revealed with a MVR examination.

Our researchers contact the employer and make every attempt to speak to the applicant’s supervisor. If the supervisor is unwilling or unable to provide information about the applicant we will contact the Human Resources Department. We make every effort to gain as much information as possible, including dates worked, title, wages, reason for departure and eligibility for rehire. The amount of information received is dependent on the company’s policy regarding release of employee data.
